Great voice, but...
In a large arena, witnessing Disney On Ice: Jump In! was not the greatest experience. People frequently interrupted our view by walking up and down the stairs to purchase hot dogs and beer. Despite repeated announcements to switch off their phones, individuals continued to record the show. Capital One employees claimed ignorance of the announcements and refused to address the distraction caused by the illuminated phones. The noise from the crowd in the concourse buying snacks and drinks mingled with the music. The concert featured some exceptional voices, especially Mr. Bocelli's, and heartwarming moments, such as with his daughter. However, the inclusion of sultry dancers during Ave Maria and Adeste Fideles was wholly inappropriate. Additionally, the cheesy videos accompanying the music also fell short. Considering the high price of tickets, it is preferable to stay at home and watch a PBS special.
A mix of great and terrible
One of the best concerts I've ever attended was the one at the Syracuse JMA Wireless Dome, which included a Beatles concert back in 1966. Despite the great performance, the venue was a major letdown and I will not be returning. The parking situation was a nightmare, with it taking an hour just to cover the last mile to the parking area I had prepaid for, with no benefit to prepayment. Waiting for the bus to the venue was another hour-long ordeal, with no rain or snow thankfully. Furthermore, the restroom I had to use while waiting for the bus was a disaster, causing my shoes to be soaked in urine due to an overflowing toilet. Even after the bus dropped us off, we still had to endure a long walk to the venue, which was particularly challenging for someone with physical limitations. The lack of Wi-Fi and unreliable data connection only added to the frustration. The venue staff were commendable, working diligently under difficult circumstances, but the dome itself was simply unable to handle the logistics and the sheer volume of attendees.
